Piet Römer stars as Dutch police detective Jurriaan “Jurre” de Cock in this long-running series based on characters from the classic mystery novels by A.C. Baantjer. Alongside de Cock are his trusted assistants Dick Vledder, a young and headstrong detective, Vera Prins,a no-nonsense female officer, and computer expert Albert Keizer. Set in Amsterdam, the team is often faced with bizarre murders that span the gamut of the city’s subcultures, from high-society to the underground.
